Wembley Stadium travel information for guests with access requirements

We recognise the need to ensure travelling to Wembley Stadium is as easy as possible for as many people as possible. We’ve worked with expert partners and specialist user groups (including Level Playing Field, Sport England, Alzheimer’s Society, and Brent Council) to make sure that the journey around the Wembley Stadium footprint is both smooth and inclusive.

Travelling by train or Tube?

  • There are three stations serving Wembley. Download a map showing where they are here.
  • Wembley is on the Chiltern Railways line, which runs to and from the Midlands, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Find out more here.
  • London trains on this line depart from Marylebone station. You’ll find more detailed departure points here, although these may change on major event days. There are departure boards on each platform.
  • If you are a wheelchair user, you’ll need to call Chiltern Railways before travelling on 08456 005 165to make sure a wheelchair ramp is on standby for you.
  • Wembley Stadium station is approximately 740 metres away from the stadium. Use the lifts to exit the station at street level, then turn right and head over The White Horse Bridge to access the stadium.

Travelling by bus?

  • The following buses run from Wembley Central and Wembley Park station to the stadium: 83, 92 and 182.
  • However, on major event days, it’s not a good idea to get the bus from these stations. Traffic is often congested, and some roads may be shut
  • It’s also worth noting that not all buses that travel to Wembley Stadium are fully accessible. Please check before you travel by visiting TFL Accessible Buses or calling London Buses’ customer services on 0845 300 7000.

Disabled Access Shuttle

  • Wembley Stadium operates a complimentary shuttle service from Wembley Park Station to Wembley Stadium.
  • The operating hours for the shuttle will vary from event to event. However, generally the shuttle will operate from 30 minutes pre gates opening to 1 hour post final whistle or the event finishing.
  • The shuttle runs on a rotational basis approximately every 30 minutes from outside Wembley Park tube station directly to the junction of Rutherford and Engineers Way without stopping and can fit up to 10 people.
  • The shuttle is wheelchair accessible.
  • If guests require additional support from the drop-off point, the Customer Engagement Team operate a 'pushing and chaperone' service for guests who require additional support on the day in terms of travel to and from their seat, like an airport.
  • This service is not pre-bookable and can be accessed across all events at the stadium.
  • The meeting point for the shuttle from Wembley Park Station is by the entry of the lift at Wembley Park tube station, adjacent to Olympic Way.
  • The Customer Engagement Team will be on hand at the drop-off point to offer directions or any additional support required.
  • At the end of the event, the shuttle bus collection point will be at the junction of Rutherford Way and Engineers Way and will drop off at Wembley Park Station.
  • Please note, the shuttle is operated by Brent Community Transport and whilst we advise on operational times any decisions on timings are ultimately made by them.

Blue Badge Parking

  • All parking for events at Wembley, including Blue Badge Parking, is booked via Wembley Official Parking. Please note, this is not managed by the stadium. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Wembley Official Parking directly.
