What you can (and can’t) bring

Prohibited items – illegal to possess

The following articles must not be brought within the ground:

Knives & blades

Fireworks

Smoke devices & Canisters

Pyrotechnics

Air Horns

Flares

Weapons

Dangerous or hazardous items

Illegal substances

Explosives or ammunition

Firearms

Any article that might be used as a weapon, be deemed as offensive or abusive and/or compromise public safety

Any person in possession of a prohibited item, will have the item confiscated and will be refused entry and reported to the police.

Restricted Items – legal to possess but not allowed within the stadium

The following articles must not be brought within the ground:

Unlicensed musical instruments: trumpets, drums, and other devices capable of causing a disturbance or nuisance, including vuvuzelas & megaphones.

Flag poles greater than 1m in length

Laser devices

Bottles, Glass Vessels (including Perfume bottles)

Aluminium containers

Cans

Flasks

Poles

Frisbees

Dangerous or hazardous items

Scooters

Skateboards or other skates

Signs or items with corporate or inappropriate branding

Unauthorised fliers & drones

Spray paint

Large industrial style ‘permanent’ marker pens

Prams & pushchairs (will be assessed for each event)

Transmitting devices

Large bodied cameras, Professional cameras & recording devices (this applies to cameras that have interchangeable lenses)

Selfie sticks

Laptops and tablets

Illegal merchandise items

hard plastic, metal or glass bottles

illegal charity collection utensils

motor bike helmets

Large umbrellas

darts

hampers

cold boxes

Alcohol

Food & Drink

Animals (except service dogs & guide dogs)

Bags outside of the A4 policy (medical exemptions apply)

Any national flag not of the competing international teams

For concerts – no posters bigger than A3

Any person in possession of a restricted item, will be refused entry.

It’s worth keeping an eye on this page before every visit, as this list may change without notice. Of course, we’ll do our best to keep everyone up to date, but much better to be safe than sorry. 

Coming to an event held by a third party?

Although Wembley is owned by The Football Association, we do not host all the all events there. For example, the Carabao Cup Final, Play-Off Finals, non-football sports events and concerts are not FA events 

The owners of these events may have their own list of prohibited items, which override the list above. Such lists will be communicated direct to ticket holders for these non-FA events.
