Wembley Stadium connected by EE is delighted to announce that Coldplay will play the national stadium as part of their 2016 ‘A Head Full Of Dreams Tour’ on Thursday 16, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June 2016.

The eight time Brit Award winning band return to Wembley for the first time since their explosive set back in 2012 was crowned Wembley’s best moment of 2012.

It is also the band’s first world tour since the 2011/12 Mylo Xyloto Tour, which was seen by more than three million people in five continents.

The band chose not to tour their last album Ghost Stories and headed straight back into the studio to record A Head Full Of Dreams.

Chris Martin believes that was the right decision and that fans will reap the benefits in summer 2016.

“I think that not going on tour with Ghost Stories was one of the best decisions we ever made, because it gave us such pent-up energy in the studio and completely reignited everyone’s desire to go around the world and play music,” he said.

“A Head Full Of Dreams was written as a record to be performed live. We can’t wait to do that.”

There will be an exclusive UK ticket pre-sale at 9.30am GMT on Thursday, November 26 for anyone who pre-orders (or has already pre-ordered) the A Head Full Of Dreams album in any format from Amazon.co.uk, before 11.59pm on Monday, November 23.

Tickets for the UK shows go on general sale on Friday, November 27 at 9.30am GMT at www.ticketmaster.co.ukwww.gigsandtours.com .
