One in a million

Saracens return to Wembley Stadium for the first time this season on Saturday to face Leicester Tigers and one lucky supporter will have the chance to win £1m, the largest spectator prize in sporting history.

During half-time, on the hallowed Wembley pitch, a member of the crowd will take the Domino’s Pizza Catch-a-Million challenge and try to catch three up-and-unders in a row – if he or she catches the first ball, the prize is £1,000; if the second ball is held as well while holding the first, the prize is £10,000; and if the third ball is held, while still holding the first two, he or she will walk away with the million.

Saracens scrum half Richard Wigglesworth accomplished the feat during a training session this week – as seen here: www.saracens.com/sarriestv/?Id=824.

He said: “It’s definitely very possible It’s not easy but, if you hold the first two balls under one arm, you can use the other to catch the third.

“Somebody could be very happy on Saturday night.”

Two supporters have won £250,000 in previous challenges during Saracens matches at Wembley Stadium, but nobody has ever had a chance to win a million.

“Saracens at Wembley offers great rugby, a great show, at a great venue for a great price,” said Saracens Chairman, Nigel Wray. “It doesn’t get much better than giving one fan the chance to win £1m.”

Only spectators at the match may apply. Tickets, priced from £6, are on sale at www.saracensatwembley.com or 0844 847 1876.

Entering the Domino’s Pizza Catch-a-Million could not be more simple: just text ‘Pizza’ to 80876 along with your name, block, row and seat number and, if you are selected, you will have the chance to win £1m. Terms and conditions apply.
