Rock 'N' Roll Football Lads' Night In

Absolute Radio have teamed up with Club Wembley to host a Rock ‘N’ Roll Football ‘Lads’ Night In’ in support of youth charity The Prince’s Trust - an exclusive event at Wembley Stadium that will take place on Monday 12th March 2012.

The national radio station is giving fans the chance to get up close and personal with the stars of the show to talk tactics and predictions with Ian Wright, Russ Williams, Jim Proudfoot and friends. Curry, beers and plenty of banter will be accompanied by a Q&A session with the Lads before all will settle down to take in Arsenal v Newcastle on the big screen.

The legendary backdrop of Wembley Stadium, will play host to the team who will act as an expert panel, bringing the Rock ‘N’ Roll Football Saturday show to a live audience filled with Absolute Radio competition winners and Club Wembley members.

Got a question for Wrighty and the team? You’ll have plenty of opportunities in the pre-match Q&A session plus at half time Absolute Radio will be auctioning off exclusive football memorabilia in a silent auction with all funds going to The Prince’s Trust. Money raised will go towards helping disadvantaged young people across the UK get the skills and confidence they need to get a job.

Club Wembley membership gives access to the best seats at the nation’s most sought-after fixtures until 2018 – including The FA Cup Final and Semi Finals, and every England Home International. Plus priority access to Wembley’s other sport and music events, as well as exclusive member benefits and experiences.

Through its partnership with the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association The Trust has helped 20,000 young people through football since 1997, working with over 65 Premier League and Football League Clubs to deliver a range of programmes that have helped three in four young people in to work, training or education.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Football ‘Lads’ Night In’ will also be filmed and recorded for www.absoluteradio.co.uk, and a special podcast will be made for listeners to enjoy after the event.
