Wembley Stadium today confirmed that Steve Welch has left the organisation as Head Groundsman.

Steve Welch worked as Head Groundsman at the new Wembley Stadium starting in October 2005 and provided support and advice during the construction and commissioning of the new stadium and maintenance guidance during the later construction phase. He went on to take full operational responsibility in March 2007 up to May 2009.

Steve has now left by mutual agreement.
