Wembley Stadium hosted its first ‘Legends tour’ last weekend as Ray Wilkins became a tour guide for the day. Ray joined the Tours management to host 65 visitors over two tours as he recounted stories from his time at club and country.

When entering the England changing room he spoke about his own England playing career and how the players prepared themselves for big games.

As the tour moved into the press conference room Ray also commented on his transition from player to management and the pressures that come from being in the media spotlight.

The three hour visit concluded with a hot buffet lunch before the visitors left with a gift from Wembley Stadium.

The guests were full of praise for both Ray’s entertaining stories and getting to go behind-the-scenes of such an iconic stadium.
