The London 2012 Organising Committee were delighted to welcome the IOC Coordination Commission to London this week for its third formal inspection of progress made on London's 2012 Olympic Games.

The committee, that included IOC member Frank Fredericks (former athlete who won 2 siver medals in Atlanta, 100m and 200m) visited the construction site at the Olympic Park and Wembley Stadium and were very impressed with what they saw.

Throughout the week they will receive formal updates from the senior team at London 2012 including LOCOG Chairman Seb Coe, Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell, British Olympic Association chairman Colin Moynihan, ODA chairman John Armit and new London Mayor Boris Johnson.
