England 1-1 Italy
Jamie Vardy's first half stunner wasn't enough as England fell foul of VAR at Wembley Satdium connected by EE.
Jesse Lingard's sharpness with a quick free-kick set Vardy in the clear on 26 minutes and the Leicester man made no mistake crashing the ball past Gianluigi Donnarumma to give England the lead.
From there it looked like this would be routine win for the Three Lions as Gareth Southgate's charges dominated the ball but faded late on after a number of substitutions disrupted their rythmn.
And Italy took full advantage.
Sub Grederico Chiesa raced into the box with three minutes remaining on the clock and took a tumble which referee Deniz Aytekin looked initially disinterested in.
However, after reviewing the incident on the screen, he then awarded the spot kick and Lorenzo Insigne made no mistake.
