Rugby League’s big day out was back! A day when fans across the country get together to celebrate all things Rugby League.
Yes, the sport’s most historic and prestigious competition returned to Wembley once again.
This year Warrington Wolves went head to head with Catalans Dragons to lift the Challenge Cup trophy.
Catalans got off to the perfect start with the opening try of the game inside 3 minutes.
Warrington then hit back with a try of their own on the half hour mark to trail the Dragons 8-6.
But Catalans scored again before half time to lead 14-6 going into the break.
And they scored again early in the 2nd half to extend their lead to 20-6. It was going to be a tough ask for Warrington to get back into the tie.
And so it proved as Catalans Dragons saw out the match despite a late rally from Warrington.
