Colts at Jags

Jacksonville Jaguars hold on to beat Indianapolis Colts in a three point thriller at Wembley Stadium

The Jaguars looked comfortable early on as Quarterback Blake Bortles found Allen Robinson for the first touchdown of the game in what would become a common theme for the Jags.

However two field goals from kicker Adam Vinatieri pulled the Colts back in to it before another Bortles touchdown meant the Jaguars would go in at half time 17-6 to the good.

A slow third quarter lead us in to a gripping fourth quarter at Wembley Stadium which had some fans questioning whether we would be seeing overtime for the first time in a London based game. Andrew Luck found TY Hilton in acres of space for the Colts to bring the score to 23-20 before Blake Bortles found Allen Hurns with a 42 yard touchdown pass to put the Jags up 30-20 with 5 minutes remaining.

A 64 yard throw from Andrew Luck found a wide open Phillip Dorsett to make the game 30-27 with 3 minutes remaining but this wasn’t enough and the Jaguars hung on for a fantastic victory.

Jacksonville Jaguars Quarterback Blake Bortles had the following to say post match ‘it’s always fun to play in this environment, in this stadium, the crowd was awesome. When you run out of time and see all the flags waving and all the Jerseys, I really enjoy playing here! It’s a super cool stadium’.
