Ok so apparently there are music productions, big music productions and then there’s Beyonce!
During two unbelievable nights at Wembley Queen Bey took things to a whole new level.
She opened proceedings with a rotating 60ft high monolith screen, ended each night dancing on a stage she had transformed into a paddling pool and in between lit the crowd purple.
In all honesty it doesn’t get much bigger and better than that!
It was a show which had everything, energy, passion, emotion and fun.
Even when Beyonce took a moment out to take in her surroundings and contemplate the enormity of the show she was leading, her devoted supporters immediately picked up the baton and continued her song for her much to her delight.
Early on during her first night the singer told fans they were witnessing her dreams come true.
Nobody in the audience would have needed any convincing this was a performance long in the making as she flawlessly sang every line and didn’t miss a step of her dance routines.
As she departed the stage after closing with ‘Halo’ she clutched a Union Jack flag before holding it aloft and thanking her adoring British public.
We can only hope she enjoys her time on these shores as much as we have enjoyed having her here because, after entertainment like that, we will be begging her to return, soon!
