Saracens V Harlequins

Saracens 37-18 Harlequins

Attendance: 47,106

Saracens completed a comfortable 37-18 victory over Harlequins at Wembley Stadium, helped by two Andy Saull tries in the first half.

In front of Saracens’ record crowd this season – 47,106 – Saull capitalised on some good work by Schalk Brits to put Brendan Venter’s side ahead and he extended their lead shortly after with a wonderful break-away try, with Brits again playing a key role.

Chris Brooker reduced arrears shortly after but Saracens went in at the break 18-8 ahead.

In the second half, Brits then scored himself before Ernst Joubert and Michael Tagicakbau gave Sarries a commanding lead, though Quins did rally with a late flurry of scores through Ugo Moyne and Chris York.

Saracens held on, however, for a comfortable victory and continued their winning run at Wembley.
