Oasis 11th

Oasis

Manchester giants Oasisplayed three nights at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 9th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July.

These were the last three dates of their satdium tour, at the end of a year of arena shows and they were supported by Reverend & The Makers, The Enemy and Kasabian.

Each night pulled in a crowd in excess of 60,000 and both the volume of the crowd and their spirit of togetherness was astounding - even despite heavy downpours on the Sunday night!

Many fans had their arms waving all night as they joined the Gallagher brothers - Noel on acoustic guitar, Liam on vocals - and sang along to the bands biggest hits including Live Forever, Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger and Champagne Supernova. It was clear that Oasis fans are a devoted lot and that there is a very strong bond between the band and their fans.

The band played like Oasis always do - there was no showmanship, indeed their performance was quite unaffected. There were lots of lights and video effects, but in true Oasis style the band just stood and belted out anthem after anthem! This is how they are known for playing and the audience loved every minute as they always do.

The evening began with Oasis' legendary Rock n Roll Star. The band ended the night with their rendition of The Beatles' I Am The Walrus.
