While millions watched on TV at home, 72,000 people came to Wembley Stadium to see the concert.

It was an opportunity to witness some the biggest acts of that era including Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Queen, The Who and many more.

We spoke to some of those who attended and became part of one of the UK’s most significant cultural moments.
