More than 100 schoolchildren from across Brent got the chance to play on the hallowed turf of Wembley Stadium recently.

Boys and girls from Park Lane School, Wembley Primary School, Lyon Park School, Gladstone Park Primary, Byron Court School and Stonebridge School were invited to take part in a range of footballing activities led by FA approved coaches.

The children also got the chance to take a penalty against England mascot Paws, before taking a tour inside the England team’s changing rooms at the stadium.

The Community Pitch Day was part of the FA and Wembley Stadium’s drive to open up its doors to the local community.
