See the Sir Bobby Robson film at Wembley
Wembley has played host to many tales that would have made wonderful Hollywood movie scripts down the years.
Therefore it seems appropriate that, on Wednesday 23 May 2018, it will play host to a movie about one of England's great managers.
Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager will be screened pitchside at Wembley one week prior to its official release. The movie will honour the legendary former Three Lions player and manager and will also support the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation which raises money to find more effective ways to detect and treat cancer.
The event will feature an exclusive Q&A with ex-England footballer Terry Butcher, hosted by Henry Winter, Chief Football writer at The Times and an appearance from Sir Bobby’s widow, Lady Elsie Robson.
Directed by Gabriel Clarke and Torquil Jones and starring an A-list cast (Ferguson, Mourinho, Guardiola, Ronaldo, Gascoigne, Shearer, Lineker, Butcher) never-before-seen archive footage and emotional testimony from Lady Elsie Robson, this is an intimate portrait of one of sport’s most inspirational and influential figures.
