England to face Holland at Wembley
England will face the Netherlands at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Tuesday 29 March 2016 (8pm kick-off).
The fixture will form a key part of Roy Hodgson’s side’s preparations for Euro 2016 next summer and will follow matches against fellow European giants Spain, France and Germany.
It will be the 20th meeting between the Three Lions and the Oranje with the last being at Wembley Stadium connected by EE in February 2012. On that occasion, Arjen Robben’s injury time winner completed a 3-2 victory for the Dutch.
England’s overall record against the Netherlands stands at five wins, nine draws and five defeats.
Hodgson’s men completed their European Qualifying campaign earlier this month with a perfect 10 after wrapping up a 100% record in Group E. However, the Netherlands missed out on a place at the finals in France next summer after finishing fourth in Group A behind the Czech Republic, Iceland and Turkey.
Nevertheless, Danny Blind’s team will still provide a tough test next March with tickets for the fixture going on sale to England Supporters Club members from Wednesday 4 November through to Wednesday 11 November. Tickets will then go on general sale from Thursday 12 November.
England’s next fixture at Wembley Stadium connected by EE is the Breast Cancer Care International against France on Tuesday 17 November (8pm kick-off). Get your tickets today via TheFA.com/tickets.
