Wembley Stadium Super Fan Meets England Legend Sir Geoff Hurst

Ever imagined attending the biggest events* at Wembley with VIP experiences thrown in for good measure? Wembley Stadium in association with Absolute Radio has begun its search for the 2012 Super Fan who will get to attend some of Wembley’s biggest sport and entertainment events in 2012.

This year’s winner will not only get to attend huge events such as The FA Cup Final and a number of England internationals, but will also enjoy money-can’t-buy access to parts of the stadium that the public never see.

Last year’s Wembley Super Fan chosen from hundreds of entries, attended over twenty games and concerts and described the last 12 months as “the most amazing year ever!”

The 2011 Super Fan got to meet some of sport and rock’s finest including; the 1966 World Cup hero - Sir Geoff Hurst, Paul Gascoigne, Martin Offiah and even got to sit next to Ronnie Wood during the England vs Ghana match.

Super Fan experiences in 2011 took the winner to the heart of the action, including bravely standing in front of the New Zealand team as they performed the Haka at the Four Nations Rugby League International Series and sitting amongst the world’s media, blogging on behalf of Wembley at The FA Cup Semi-Final Manchester Derby. The culmination of an amazing year saw the Super Fan take part in a penalty shoot-out at half time during the England vs Sweden match.

To enter go to www.facebook.com/wembleystadium and describe why you deserve to win this amazing prize. Entries must be no longer than 140 characters and the competition closes at 5pm on Thursday 16 February 2012.

The five best entries will be short-listed and Absolute Radio listeners and Wembley fans will get to vote for their winner online at www.absoluteradio.com
