For the first time ever, Wembley Stadium is hosting an exclusive Twitter competition to see who fans would like to see zip wire across the iconic stadium. Sunday Brunch co-host Tim Lovejoy and Chris Wolstenholme from the band Muse will go head-to-head for their chance to make Wembley history.

Fans can vote for who they would most like to see enjoy this ultimate adrenaline experience by following @wembleystadium and tweeting #TeamLovejoy or #TeamMuse depending on who they wish to vote for.  The competition closes on Friday 10 August at 5pm so fans are encouraged to vote for their favourite team before it’s too late.

Thrill seekers and fans alike also have the chance to share the same experience as our lucky celebrities and take part in the Wembley Zip Wire Tour by purchasing tickets at www.wembleystadium.com/tours.

Through this first ever Twitter vote we’re encouraging the nation to support their favourite team to see which of our lucky celebs will zip across our famous pitch and cement their place in the history books.”

The Zip Wire experience was developed by Zip Slides UK, the country’s leading provider of temporary zip wire events who have delivered over 100 successful events across numerous high profile venues, including 20 top flight football clubs.

Visitors for the Wembley zip wire experience will also receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium where they will be able to enjoy the ‘Exhibition of Champions’, the England changing rooms, players’ tunnel and Wembley’s famous Royal Box.

*The Wembley zip wire tour is subject to availability.  Following the Olympic Football Tournament at Wembley, the regular Wembley Tour will re-open from 15 August, 2012.
