Travel

Airport transfers can be booked from Faro Airport to numerous destinations throughout the Algarve, including Portimão.

This is probably the cheapest and most direct option for larger groups and is a door-to-door service. Travelling from Faro to Portimão by bus, you will need to get the bus from Faro (estimated cost €5.50). You can purchase tickets at the train station, from ticket machines or online
