'Absolutely fantastic'
Friday, 13 May 2005.
The new Wembley Stadium has been given the thumbs-up by England Head Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson - exactly one year ahead of opening day.
Sven took a look around the site to see for himself the fabulous new facility that will host The FA Cup Final on 13 May 2006.
For the past four years the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff has hosted the showpiece game, but it will return to its spiritual home next season.
And with just 365 days and counting until the 2006 Cup Final, the Three Lions coach cannot wait for the new Wembley to be finished and open for business.
On his first visit to the Stadium since September he said: "The stadium looks very nice and in one year's time it will look even better.
"It is a huge stadium and looks so impressive. When I came here last time it looked nothing like this, but now I have a feeling about how big it will be because you can see it will be really big.
"This is the most famous stadium in the whole world. It has always been like that and now it will be even more attractive and more famous.
"It is a dream for every football coach, every football manager and every footballer to play here and it will be an absolutely fantastic stadium.
"In one year's time The FA Cup Final will be the first game to be played here and I am sure that the tickets will be sold out in one day."
