On the road to Wembley with National Express Group

National Express Group has today signed a contract with Wembley Stadium to become the Official Transport Supplier to the stadium until 2010 and will be providing new, dedicated links for visitors to the new national stadium from all over the country. In addition, National Express has signed a contract with The Football Association to become the Official Travel Partner of the England team and The FA Cup for the same period.

National Express will work with The FA and Wembley Stadium to ensure that sports and music fans are able to travel directly to events in a comfortable, convenient and environmentally-friendly way.

As part of the agreement, the company will be operating 13 new coach routes to the gates of Wembley Stadium from 43 major towns and cities (see route map for Wembley coach network). Fans will arrive on National Express coaches that will park directly outside the stadium.

Visitors to Wembley Stadium are advised not to use private cars but instead travel by National Express coach, train, tube or bus. A resident’s permit scheme operates on stadium event days and cars with resident permits will be allowed to park in the area.
