A Government agency, formerly The Sports Council. It leads the development of sport in England by influencing and serving the public, private and voluntary sector. It is responsible for the administration of the sports section of the national lottery in England. Sport England. A 120million Lottery Grant has funded the purchase of the existing Wembley Stadium.
