npower is the Official Energy Supplier for Wembley Stadium. npower, one of the UK’s top three energy suppliers, exclusively supplies the renewable energy to power the world’s greatest sports and entertainment venue.  As a result Wembley is also the first major UK stadium to be supplied by ‘green’ energy.

npower provides the gas and electricity to power the whole 90,000 seater stadium including the retractable roof, the Club Wembley concourse, all 688 food and drink service points, the heating, all 30 escalators, the media centre and all the technology including the two giant screens (equivalent in size to 600 domestic television sets).

npower, currently the second largest supplier of electricity to large businesses, holds a 20% share of the business energy supply market and is helping Wembley Stadium lead the way in regards to renewable energy. All of the energy used by Wembley Stadium is matched by renewable electricity. For every unit of normal electricity used by Wembley Stadium, a unit of renewable electricity is fed into the National Grid by npower.
