The Wembley Stadium Tour is a Visit England approved Quality Assured Attraction and, since its beginning in 1978, has welcomed millions of sports fans from all over the world through its doors. Wembley's tours are conducted by experienced and passionate guides and last for 75 minutes allowing you plenty of time for photographs as you move around the stadium.
At 90,000 seats Wembley Stadium is the largest sports and music venue in the United Kingdom. Home to the England Football Team, the FA Cup Final and Semi-Finals, the Carling Cup Final, the Football League Play-Off Finals, the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final and much, much more, Wembley Stadium is the ultimate sporting venue in England. In 2011, Wembley Stadium proudly hosted the UEFA Champions League Final (and will do so again in 2013) while also hosting the Men's and Women's Football Finals of the 2012 London Olympics.
Wembley Stadium's history is unparalleled both in London and the UK. From it's original opening in 1923, the stadium is inextricably linked with the world's biggest events and the nation's greatest sporting achievements. The 1948 London Olympics, the 1966 World Cup, the 1996 European Championships and 1985's Live Aid are all etched in the memory of those who witnessed them either at the stadium or on television. Wembley can also boast 6 European Cup/UEFA Champions League Finals (more than any other stadium), a European Cup-Winner's Cup Final, a Rugby League World Cup Final and so much more in its 81 year history.
