10 years of Wembley

Fancy seeing one of your pictures on display for all to see at Wembley Stadium connected by EE? Well here's your chance!

To celebrate a decade of the new Wembley Stadium we are looking for the best pictures snapped by the most important people at any stadium; you, the fans!

So tweet your picture of the new Wembley using #Wembley10 before 11am on Wednesday 17 May 2017 and you could be in with a chance of making our shortlist, which will go to a public vote on our Instagram page @WembleyStadium.

The winning entry will be proudly displayed at Wembley with its owner receiving four tickets to an England game of their choosing.

Oh, and don't forget to follow @WembleyStadium on Twitter as only our followers will be eligible for the competition.

FA #Wembley10 Competition (the “Competition”)

Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter of the Competition is The Football Association Limited ("The FA"), Wembley Stadium, Wembley, London, HA9 0WS.
  2. Entry into the Competition is dependent on your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and by entering the Competition you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Entrants must be based in the United Kingdom and all entrants under the age of 16 on the Closing Date (as defined below) must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian before entering the Competition. Employees of The FA, any FA Group Company or anyone professionally connected to this Competition and members of their immediate families are not permitted to enter the Competition.
  4. To validly enter the Competition you must tweet an image of Wembley Stadium from the past 10 years (i.e. from 2007 up to and including 2017) to the @wembleystadium Twitter feed using #Wembley10.
  5. Entrants must follow @wembleystadium on Twitter in order to be eligible.
  6. There is no maximum of entries per Twitter account however no more than one entry per Twitter account will be shortlisted. Any individual found to be using multiple Twitter accounts to enter will be ineligible.
  7. No payment or purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
  8. Only eligible entries tweeted to @wembleystadium with #Wembley10 between 5pm Tuesday 9 May 2017 (the “Opening Date”) and 11am Wednesday 17 May 2017 (the “Closing Date”) will be entered into the Competition. Entries posted after the Closing Date will not be processed. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions and the Competition, the period of time beginning on the Opening Date and ending at the Closing Date shall be referred to as the “Competition Window.
  9. All entrants into the Competition confirm, by entering the Competition, that: (i) they have the right to submit the images/videos used to enter the Competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; (ii) have obtained the consent of all individuals shown or mentioned in their entry prior to its submission; and (iii) that the FA may use any aspect of their entry for any reason (including but not limited to publicity and promotional purposes). Entrants automatically assign all rights in any entry to The FA. All entrants into the Competition waive any moral rights they may have in relation to their entry.
  10. The FA does not accept responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, incomplete or otherwise not received or cannot be entered for technical or any other reason. Proof of posting the entry on Twitter is not proof of receipt. Incomplete or illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions and these Terms and Conditions are invalid.
  11. There will be 6 shortlisted entries chosen after the Closing Date (the “Shortlisted Entries”) which will then be put to a public vote on the @wembleystadium Instagram page (the “Instagram Vote”). One winner of the Competition (the “Winner”) will then be determined by the number of likes on each post in the Instagram Vote. The Shortlisted Entry with the most likes in the Instagram Vote between the period of midday Thursday 18 May 2017 and 10am Thursday 25 May 2017 or such other dates notified by The FA from time to time (the “Second Competition Window”) will be the Winner. For the avoidance of doubt, the Shortlisted Entries will be posted to @wembleystadium Instagram page by Wembley Stadium, no Shortlisted Entry will be posted more than once and no individual can win the Competition more than once.
  12. Each Winner will be entitled to receive four tickets to an England home match of their choosing, taking place at Wembley Stadium, as long as that match takes place before 31 December 2017; the Winner will also have their image displayed at Wembley Stadium connected by EE (the “Prizes”).
  13. The Shortlisted Entries for the Instagram Vote will be selected from the eligible entries received within the Competition Window by members of The FA Marketing and Communications teams (the “Panel”).
  14. The Shortlisted Entries will be selected by the Panel by 5pm Friday 12 May 2017 and will be notified via Twitter by no later than 11pm Sunday 14 May 2017 or such other dates notified by The FA from time to time. The Instagram Vote will then take place during the Second Competition Window.
  15. Shortlisted Entries will be judged on criteria including: quality of photography, originality, capturing the event or venue, humour and historic value.
  16. The Winner will be notified via Twitter by Thursday 25 May 2017.
  17. Each Winner must respond and confirm acceptance to The FA within 48 hours of being notified of the outcome in order to claim the Prizes. If the Winner does not confirm acceptance within that time period, the Shortlisted Entry with the next highest number of likes in the Instagram Vote will be selected as Winner.
  18. The FA has the right to select an alternative winner or substitute winner from the remaining eligible entries received within the Competition Window or Shortlisted Entries if: (i) a Winner is ineligible to enter the Competition; (ii) The FA is unable to reach a Winner within the timeframe outlined above; or (iii) a Winner does not wish to accept the Prize.
  19. The FA shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of an entrant.
  20. The FA reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify any entry which it considers does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or any entrant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Competition, including providing false or misleading information. All entries that do not comply with the Twitter Rules (click here for access) or Instagram Terms of Use (click here for access) will also be disqualified.
  21. Entries must be made by the entrant, and must not be made through agents or third parties.
  22. All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other prizes (in whole or in part). In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside The FA’s control, The FA reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The FA accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with any prize which are not specifically included in that prize. Winners are strictly prohibited from selling their prizes to any other person.
  23. Entrants who are rude, abusive, breach any applicable Terms and Conditions (including without limitation the Twitter Rules or Instagram Terms of Use) or are deemed otherwise unsuitable by The FA (in its reasonable opinion) may be excluded from the Competition.
  24. The FA will use the information that entrants provide to process the Competition and may publish the Winners’ names and/or Twitter username and/or towns of residence on The FA website. The Winners may also be required for publicity and/or promotional activity as reasonably requested by The FA. We may send entrants information from time to time about The FA Group and other related football matters and shall process your information in accordance with The FA’s Privacy Policy (found at http://www.thefa.com/public/privacy), which you are deemed to accept when entering the Competition.
  25. No correspondence will be entered into in respect of this Competition except with the Winners.
  26. The FA accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities (including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damage) injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition, not being able to enter into the Competition or accepting any prize. The FA further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer or IT systems relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials in connection with the Competition. Nothing shall exclude the liability of The FA for fraud or for death or personal injury as a result of that party's negligence.
  27. In no event shall The FA or its Group Company’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the price of the Prize. Without limiting the foregoing and to the extent permitted by law, this Competition and the Prize are provided "as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
  28. The FA reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control or in exceptional circumstances.
  29. If any of these Clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining Clauses shall survive, remaining in full force and effect.
  30. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Twitter or Instagram. You agree that neither Twitter nor Instagram shall be in any way responsible for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment suffered or incurred by you in connection with the Competition.
  31. Full details of the Prize and the name of the Winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Customer Response Manager, The FA, Wembley Stadium, PO Box 1966, London SW1P 9EQ.
  32. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
