Wembley Stadium connected by EE will welcome the Baltimore Ravens to London for the first time in 2017 as two exciting NFL International Series fixtures were announced for the national stadium today.
Wembley will host NFL matches on weeks three and four of the season with Baltimore Ravens facing Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints taking on Miami Dolphins under the arch.
The games will be played on Sunday 24 September 2017 and Sunday 1 October 2017 although it is still to be confirmed which of the games will be played on which date.
This will be the fifth consecutive year that Jacksonville Jaguars have appeared at Wembley while Miami Dolphins are also very familiar with the national stadium as they prepare to visit it for a fourth time.
New Orleans Saints fans have had a nine year wait for their team to return but after their 37-32 victory over San Diego Chargers last time out the stadium is likely to provoke fond memories.
“We are looking forward to a London season that will feature many firsts,” said Alistair Kirkwood, Managing Director of NFL UK. “Our fans have the chance to watch star players such as Baltimore’s Super Bowl-winning quarterback and we are excited to be welcoming home a Londoner, Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi, when his team plays at Wembley.”
Jim Frayling, Head of Business Development, Wembley Stadium, commented: "Wembley Stadium has been a home away from home for the NFL for a decade, and we are delighted to host these two huge fixtures in what will be the tenth anniversary year of the new stadium. We look forward to welcoming the four world-class teams to our world-class venue in 2017."
Existing season ticket holders will have priority access to renew their seats for 2017 from 10 a.m. this Thursday, December 15 here.
If you wish to become a season ticket holder, you will be able to purchase tickets in January 2017. The sale date of individual game tickets is still to be confirmed.
