With four weeks to go until the Jacksonville Jaguars play the San Francisco 49ers in London, the search is on for junior cheerleaders to dance with THE ROAR of the Jaguars at the NFL Tailgate at Wembley Stadium.
Girls between the ages of 8 and 12, from each of the 32 London boroughs, will be hand-picked by THE ROAR, the cheerleading squad for the Jacksonville Jaguars – which is already being called London’s home NFL team following their announcement last October to play four games in London over the next four years.
Winners will be invited to meet THE ROAR at Wembley on Sunday 27th October for a cheerleading masterclass, then a chance to dance with the world famous cheerleaders.
Heather has been a cheerleader with THE ROAR for two seasons now, travelling the world and performing to millions of fans.
Heather said: “Wherever THE ROAR go, we love to meet NFL fans and girls who are aspiring to be cheerleaders. Girls like us, who dream of dancing in stadiums supporting the game and team we love.”
“We’ll be picking 32 girls to come and meet us at the NFL Tailgate, just before our first game against the San Francisco 49ers.
“We’ll meet the girls, teach them our routine and then we’ll dance as a squad together. We cannot wait to meet our newest Junior ROAR members!”
Based in Florida, USA, the Jacksonville Jaguars and THE ROAR have a growing UK fan-base, with the team playing a home game at Wembley Stadium in each of the next four seasons.
To win a chance of dancing with THE ROAR, aspiring cheerleaders aged 8-12 should click here and, in less than 150 words, state why they would like to dance with THE ROAR by 11th October.
The best entries representing each of the 32 London boroughs will be invited to dance with THE ROAR on October 27th at Wembley.
