"It's a good time to bond as we don't get much time together. You get a good feeling when you come up here. You're excited, a little bit nervous because you haven't seen the lads for a while."
He continued: "I had a long spell out of the team but this is my third consecutive meet-up, so it's nice to get a little run and stay injury free."
While Wilshere and his Arsenal side sit top of the tree in the Premier League, the 21-year-old was initially the only Gunner in the England squad until Kieran Gibbs joined up to replace Ashley Cole.
Emirates pair Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are currently missing through injury, and both have netted important goals for England in recent months.
Wilshere says the young forwards will be missed for this home double-header, but hopes to see them back in action soon.
"They bring a lot of pace to the team, a lot of quality," he said. "Theo is great in front of goal and Alex is an exciting player, so we're going to miss them.
"I think Theo is a bit closer to coming back than Alex, but he's working hard and is in good shape so when he gets a chance to run again he'll be fit."
The first of England's two games in the next week is on Friday night at Wembley against Montenegro. They then welcome Poland to the national stadium knowing that two wins will be enough to seal their place in Brazil next summer.
Wilshere believes that, along with the form the Three Lions players are in, home advantage will count as they look for maximum points to finish top of Group H.
"They are big games and they don't come bigger. We have a great opportunity to get to a World Cup, and for a young player like me it would be a dream come true," he said.
"There are a few young players in the team, and we've got some experienced players who have done it and know what it's all about.
"There are some player in real top form at the moment. Daniel Sturridge is on fire at Liverpool, Danny Welbeck is looking good, so everyone is full of confidence."
He added: "There is no better feeling than running out at Wembley in an England shirt, it's what dreams are made of.
"When you get out there you have to work hard and show what you can do, you have to take your chance."
