Jeremy Doyle, 28, from Clapham, south London was chosen from more than 7000 potential Facebook Superfans for the illustrious prize of unrivalled access to major events at Wembley Stadium in 2011.
Jeremy, who is a keen sportsman, found out that he was shortlisted for the fantastic prize last week, but was still amazed when he discovered the news yesterday.
"To have been named Wembley’s Super Fan is just incredible. I’m over the moon” he said. “I am so happy and I feel extremely privileged and honoured to have been chosen.
“This is going to an amazing year and I am so excited about sharing my experiences and giving other fans the opportunity to join me at some of the great events at Wembley over the next 12 months.”
The Superfan’s first outing will be this weekend’s Carling Cup Final between Arsenal and Birmingham City where he will be watching the first major final of the football calendar in the Club Wembley Gold Section.
He will be joined in the exclusive seats by his girlfriend’s brother and Jeremy added: “My girlfriend’s brother is visiting from Poland and we had all planned to go away for the weekend to show him some of the English countryside, but instead he’ll be joining me at Wembley for his first ever football match!
“My girlfriend is a big music fan, so she’s already eyeing up some of the great music events that are coming up later in the year.”
Wembley Stadium Managing Director Roger Maslin added: “We are delighted to have chosen Jeremy as our Superfan. We had an unprecedented amount of interest in the competition but Jeremy was the outstanding candidate and we look forward to welcoming him to Wembley for what is set to be a truly amazing year in the stadium’s history.”
