Wembley Stadium Consultancy was created to meet the commercial demand of organisations who want to access the knowledge and experience at the world’s most famous stadium. Many international guests from other venues have visited Wembley Stadium looking to view the facilities and seek the expertise of our team. Similarly, we have visited numerous international venues advising them on design, facilities systems, operations and commercial practices. We undertake study reports and act as consultants as part of multi-discipline teams, managing the design and development of venues. This includes existing venues and predominantly new venues where Wembley’s experience is of greatest value. Wembley Stadium Consultancy has multi-skilled consultants in all areas of activity and, when required, draws on the more specific skills of professionals within Wembley Stadium.
Wembley Stadium Consultancy projects include advising on the following:
Take a tour of the stadium and spend time with key Wembley Stadium professionals who will give a detailed insight of Wembley Stadium and an overview of its operations. There is a fee for this type of visit which is calculated depending on the number of attendees and the length and depth of requirements.
We consult on a broad range of topics namely financial planning, event planning and management, procurement and development of new events, health and safety, security, traffic management, local resident/community relationship management, sales and marketing, venue design, sponsorship, licensing, catering, merchandising, database marketing, ticketing, media and PR campaigns, perimeter advertising, brand development and protection, membership and affiliate schemes, turf management, corporate hospitality, stadium tours, conference & banqueting, community activities and software for venues and strategic plans.
Wembley Stadium Consultancy can be brought in to look at specific, technical projects when there is a skill gap in-house. For instance, we arranged for the Wembley head groundsman to assist Parc des Princes in Paris to replace their pitch. A fee was agreed and the head groundsman from Wembley was seconded for 2 weeks to manage the project.
Wembley Stadium Consultancy is often invited to be a part of consortia that are planning to build new venues. Clients want both the intellectual property of Wembley but also the credibility of having the Wembley brand in their consortium. This type of work can last for 6 -12 month periods or longer if necessary.
Ultimately Wembley Stadium Consultancy could be awarded a contract to manage another venue. Hong Kong and Johannesburg are two such examples where we provided a General Manager and staff with support and information from staff at the stadium as required.
