In the summer of 1985, Wembley Stadium was the stage for the biggest musical event the world had ever seen.
Live Aid, the brainchild of Sir Bob Geldof was a rock concert, featuring dozens of the biggest names of the Eighties, watched by a global audience of 1.4 billion in 170 countries.
Held to raise awareness of and money for famine victims in Africa, the line-up included George Michael, Queen, Sting, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Elton John and Sir Paul McCartney.
