Arsenal v Hull: FA Cup Final
17 May 2014
The FA has confirmed that the FA Cup Final with Budweiser will return to having its own day in the football calendar next year.
The 2013-14 FA Cup Final will take place on Saturday 17 May, a week after the Premier League season has concluded.
Alex Horne, The FA’s General Secretary, said: “We’re well aware that fans and media have been calling for The FA Cup Final to have a day to itself and we’re delighted that this is going to happen for 2014.
“It’s the first time we’ve managed to get the FA Cup Final a stand-alone date since Chelsea v Portsmouth in 2010 but there have been various reasons for that, not least the two UEFA Champions League Finals at Wembley Stadium which have been fantastic occasions and required huge resources and a massive build up time behind the scenes.”
The FA Cup Final will kick-ff at 5pm on 17 May.
Arsenal will face Hull City in this season's FA Cup Final and ticket prices and allocations are as follows.
Arsenal and Hull City will receive 25,000 tickets for next month’s FA Cup with Budweiser Final and that prices will start at £45.
FA Cup Final tickets will be available to supporters across four price categories and the 2014 final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 17 May (kick-off 5pm) is the third year running that prices have remained the same.
Tickets will be sold via the two clubs and will be available at £45, £65, £85 and £115.
As well as the 50,000 ticket split between the two finalists, approximately 20,000 tickets will be distributed to volunteers through the football family which includes counties, leagues, local clubs and charities.
Football family tickets will also include the 92 Premier League & Football League clubs plus another 134 Full Member clubs and all clubs that have reached the Third Round of this season’s competition.
