England v Norway
3 Sep 2014 - 8:00 PM
England's first opponents to visit Wembley following this summer's World Cup have been confirmed.
Norway will come to Wembley for the first time in 20 years, as part of the reciprocal arrangement that saw England play in Oslo in 2012.
England have faced the Norwegians eleven times, the most recent was Roy Hodgson's first game in charge two years ago when a solitary strike from Ashley Young saw the Three Lions take the spoils in the build up to UEFA Euro 2012.
England have won six of the eleven ties, and face Norway on Wednesday 3 September at Wembley Stadium. Five days later Hodgson's side travel to Berne to face Switzerland in the first qualifier for UEFA Euro 2016.
